Thought I saw something as I was hanging out the washing - there was a pair of birds flying over quite high up. A bit later all the small birds disappeared and the Jackdaws were in a panic, flocking together. Next thing I see a female Sparrowhawk fly into the tree on the other side of the lane. It took off after a few minutes when it saw my cat heading in that direction, although he hadn't spotted it!

I'm glad the sprawk doesn't visit here but I love looking at other folks pictures, it truly is a lovely looking bird
